Choirs

Heavenly Metal

A bell choir for youth in the 4th-8th grades. This group meets on Monday evenings from 5:30-6:15pm.

 

Daybreak Choir

Our adult choir sings mostly at the 8:00am service, but you'll find them at all our services from time to time. They sing mostly contemporary and gospel selections and meet on Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm.

 

Holy Tollers

This high school and adult handbell choir meets on Monday evenings from 6:30-7:30pm

 

Celebrate Worship Band

This band leads music in our 8:00am contemporary service. We celebrate with Gospel, Country, and some old hymns. Be prepared to tap your toes. The band meets on Tuesdays at 6:00pm.

 

Rejoice Worship Band       

This band leads music in our 9:30am contemporary service. The music is mostly the best of Christian Contemporary with some old favorites and reworked oldies thrown in. The band meets on Wednesdays at 7:00pm except during Lent when we meet on Tuesdays.

The Sonshine Band
This performing arts team for youth in grades 6th-12th meets in conjunction with the church's Youth Ministry. Every summer the youth gather for a two-week summer camp and put on a musical.

Rainbow Spirits

Ben Dahlke directs this choir for children in K-5th grade. The kids met weekly for devotion, singing, and often a treat. Ben and Karen Dahlke directs this choir which meets on Monday evenings from 6:30-7:15pm

Men's Chorus
This is the musical part of our Anchor Watch men's group. We have more fun than should be allowed. We meet for a couple rehearsals and sing in worship every three months.

Women's Chorus
Our newest group is our Women's Chorus. This group will sing for the first time at Christmastime 2009. The plan is for it to rehearse and sing quarterly like the Men's Chorus.

Beginner Guitar Classes
Have you ever wanted to play a musical instrument? These two classes meets on Wednesdays at 5pm or Fridays at 6pm to learn the basics and encourage one another as we make a joyful noise!
